coral was born in the gloom of early winter.

I had intended this box for a different fabric - one that was dark and muted with traces of silvery grey. It would have been beautiful. And, I may have executed it had it been Springtime. However, it was November and cold out and my garden was dead and dying. I needed cheering up. Coral was patient. The fabric Iā€™d had for some time. She is bright; but, not too bright. Classy and fun at the same time. I see her in a beach house full for shells gathered from the beaches just beyond the window.
